Norman's Latest Work

At the age of 90, Norman still works in his new studio in Beverly every day for about 7 or 8 hours, sometimes longer.  He is inspired by many people, places and events.  Since he has always loved to paint historic paintings of Revere, particularly Revere Beach, he was inspired by the Sandcastle Competition held at Revere Beach in 2005 and 2006 (http://fitzysnowman.com/revere2.html)  He marveled at the intricate sculpting of each sandcastle and wanted to record it permanently in his paintings.   Following are four examples of recently completed paintings of the sandcastles that were on display at Revere Beach during the summers of 2005 and 2006.
